Behind The Wheel Or With A Team
Whether you're looking to race, volunteer, or simply be part of the action, joining Rally in Ontario has never been easier!
Racing
- Navigational Rallies: A strategic test of precision driving and navigation. Using a set of instructions, teams must follow a predetermined route while maintaining the correct speeds. No special modifications needed—just bring a car, a navigator, and your competitive spirit!
- Rally Cross: A thrilling introduction to performance driving! Race against the clock on a mixed-surface track (dirt, gravel, or snow) with no need for expensive modifications. Get sideways, push your limits, and experience the rush of rally racing in a safe environment.
- Rally Sprint: A grassroots step up in rallying! Short, high-intensity stages (up to 5km) on forest roads, with lighter vehicle requirements than full performance rallies. Perfect for drivers looking for serious speed on a smaller scale.
- Performance Rallies: The ultimate rally challenge! Compete on real roads with high-speed, precision driving and co-driver navigation. Requires safety equipment and preparation, but delivers an unmatched motorsport experience for those ready to take the next step.
- Team Support & Crew: Get up close to the action without being behind the wheel! Rally teams need skilled crew members for vehicle maintenance, logistics, and strategy. Whether you're a mechanic, strategist, or just eager to help, there's a crucial role for you in the pit crew or service area.
- Co-Driver/Navigator: Precision meets adrenaline! Co-drivers are essential, guiding drivers with precise pace notes, timing calculations, and route instructions. No prior experience? Start with navigational rallies and build your skills toward top-tier competition.
- Event Organizers & Officials: Help bring rally events to life! From planning routes to managing logistics and scoring, rally organizers ensure every event runs smoothly. A great way to be part of the community and build connections in motorsport.
Volunteering
- Checkpoint Crew: Right where the action is! Log arrival times, keep the event running on schedule, and witness the rally from the best spots. You're not just watching — you're making it happen.
- Quiet Zone Patrol: Rally relies on respect. Monitor driver behavior in sensitive areas, help maintain good community relations, and be the eyes and ears where it matters most.
- Course Open & Close: Drive the route before and after competitors, check for hazards, and make sure the course is safe and clear. It's part recon mission, part road guardian.
- Registration Team: Be the first friendly face participants meet. Confirm paperwork, answer questions, and help set the tone for a smooth event.
- Scoring Assistant: Help tally times and confirm results. The competitors may win the rally — but you make the results possible.
- Stage Marshals: Stand in the elements with a ham radio and your wits. Rain, snow, bugs — nothing stops you from keeping competitors safe and informed. You're a rally warrior.
- Sweep Crew Support: Help recover stranded cars and assist teams in distress. You're the one they count on when things go sideways — literally.
- General Volunteer: Rally doesn't run without people who do it for the love. No glamour, no pay — just dedication, teamwork, and gravel in your boots. Think you love rally more than anyone? Prove it here.
